Happy Activity Professionals Week!

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for what you do every day.  Activity Professionals are an important part of the healthcare team.   You are the heart and soul of your facility and deserve recognition for the work you do every day.  You provide meaningful quality of life opportunities for the elderly in many different settings.  The theme of this year’s National Activity Professionals week and NAAP conference is “Oh the Places You’ll Go.” Looking back over the years at the places we have been and the impact we have had elevating our profession, it is an exciting time to be an activity professional!

How are you celebrating?  It would be fun to let us all know!

Please Journal!

In CC3 everybody worked on certification!  Did you all go into the NCCAP website and set up your profile?  This is a must!  All your official documents will be in your profile!  Nccap has gone green!  You will not receive your certificates by regular mail!
Please check your NCCAP profile, and if you have not set this up--let me know! I just renewed everything and just went to my profile and printed my certificates.  If you have a profile you should be getting a monthly NCCAP newsletter!  It is a must to read each month!
So,  please journal on your profile.  I
Title it NCCAP Profile---Send me a snapshot of your profile page!  Please and thank you!
