chats offered by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals
in honor of National Activity Professionals Week. Here is your chance to accrue
hours for your renewal or initial certification. Tonights chat will be at 8 PM
EST and let by Sulekha Zaug and the topic will be "Meeting the Needs of
our Senior Populations"
SPECIAL NOTE: Chats this week are not held on NCCAP chat board but on chat board noted below. Chats are led by volunteers and tend to be fast paced due to the size of the chat. There is no call in option and no sound - it is all done via computer. The chat print is small and there is no way to enlarge it. Please read the etiquette guidelines on NCCAP Facebook page or on the chat page, while you are waiting.The chats are FREE and it is optional for you to attend.
To obtain your hour, you must attend the entire hour and submit the Chat Summary Form to the NCCAP office. If attending more than one chat, you can wait and submit at the end of the week.
The NAPW chats will be conducted on FreeScreenSharing web site. You simply log on and follow the directions on the screen.
To log on, go to http://www.FreeScreenSharing.com/meetings/892-410-577
A green screen will appear where you will put your e-mail and user name in. The user name will be what people see in the chat. Once you enter that information, it will take you to the chat. Please be on time for the chat. Partial credit for less than an hour attended WILL NOT be given. Your computer will need the latest version of Adobe Flash as well as Java. We encourage you to visit the site prior to your first chat to familiarize yourself with the procedure.
